The Foraged Finds collection debuts replicas of Irish botanicals found around the Lost Forest farm, within knotted hedgerows, or lovingly grown in the Lost Forest cottage garden. Every treasure has been entirely handcrafted by Gillian using a handmade mold, and intricately fashioned by hand in recycled eco- friendly 99.9% fine silver. All the finds retain their beautiful form and idiosyncrasies that make them truly unique, and wonderfully tactile.

The earrings feature a bonny pair of 99.9% fine silver Hawthorn blossoms. In Irish folklore the Hawthorn tree is a sacred tree, and inhabited by the wee folk. It’s often known as a ‘fairy tree’ and is greatly respected by people in rural Ireland. It is deeply symbolic of love and protection, and is associated with the Celtic Spring festival of Bealtaine.

The delicate blossoms hang from handcrafted 925 sterling silver ear wires.

The hand of the maker is evident in each piece as no machinery has been used during making. This is a charming characteristic of a handcrafted item.

The back of the earrings are left polished and unadorned.
