'A Vintage Tea Party'

I don’t get to visit Dublin very often now, so when my sister asked me to join her to have afternoon tea on a vintage bus that drives around Dublin city, and features 12 ft images of her illustrations, well how could I refuse such an invitation?!

My sister Rachel was involved in the re-branding of Vintage Tea Trips, and she created a series of beautiful whimsical characters to adorn their striking 1960’s double decker bus. It is simply an attraction in itself, and as we made our way around the city, it caught many admiring glances from passers-by.

We were treated to a delicious afternoon tea, complete with Christmas crackers and Bing Crosby’s Christmas tunes playing in the background. It is a wonderful, and very different tourist experience, and you even get to bring home your own souvenir tea cup at the end of the journey.
