'Pixie Bouquet of a special Day'- Bridal keepsake jewellery
I have been very busy lately finishing the last of this years custom orders. I had an overwhelming surge or orders just before October and I can now finally reveal some of the items I have been working on. This special request was a sweet memento set made from my client’s wedding flowers. She had beautifully dried a broad range of flowers from her bouquet; from love-in-a-mist, foliage, rose petals and pink and plum flower petals. She chose the pixie globe for all three pieces; one for herself, her mom and her mother-in-law. As the pixie globe is wonderfully petite, my signature petal confetti was the ideal design for each one. I used the filigree form of the love-in-a-mist bracts to wrap around the contour of the globe, creating a natural embrace around the whirlwind of petals within. The result is a beautiful microcosm of her bouquet, illuminated under the sun like shards of stained glass. Each globe is a unique and tangible memory of a very happy occasion.
