'Pretty Little Fawn in the Forest'

This beautiful Looking Glass was created especially for Courtney Halverson as a precious memento of her wedding day, and cherished memories of her trips to the Emerald Isle, which hold dear to her heart. It was such a pleasure to design and make this piece for her; featuring a single chamomile flower, imbued with symbolism of her special day. The garland of wildflowers feature sweet alyssum, embraced by honeyed wild grasses, ivory meadowsweet, Queen Anne’s Lace, and ancient woodland ferns. The floral palette is comprised of muted and soothing earthy tones of ochres, soft greens, yellows and ivories to compliment Courtney’s ethereal and natural aesthetic.

Every item in the Lost Forest collection is titled with a unique name, which suits the scene I have ‘painted’ within each frame. Just like a painting, a title evokes an emotional connection to the piece. I titled this piece ‘Maiden of the Meadow’.

Courtney is wearing her bespoke Looking Glass on an 18” handmade chain. I love how she has paired it with this beautiful vintage style dress, that emphasises the naturally muted tones within the necklace.

Every Looking Glass is presented in its very own treasure box; the signature green velvet Lost Forest box. Its mossy green tones perfectly suit Courtney’s vintage fairytale aesthetic.
