'Seasons Greetings from the Lost Forest'

 

The Lost Forest studio has closed its doors for 2021, and I’m now enjoying some time off, and away from screens, except for the TV screen of course!

My days are filled with relaxing walks around the farm, collecting fallen treasures from the trees above, making botanical ice sculptures, doodling in my notebook, and sitting by the fire with the chunkiest blanket I can find. As the season slows and unwinds, it feels intuitive to do the same. Taking the time to enjoy simple daily tasks; making a cup of hot chocolate, writing Christmas cards, feeding the birds, or just daydreaming in nature, all have a deeply important value and purpose at the closing of another difficult year.

I’d like to wish all of my loyal followers and customers a very happy and safe festive season, and I will see you once again in January with plenty more magic from the Lost Forest. - Gillian x
