'A new chapter begins' -The Final Collection
Update -28th April 2021: I am currently taking a break, and working on a brand new direction for my jewellery range. My new reimagined Looking Glass collection will return later in the year made from brand new materials and a renewed vision. Thank you to everyone for your support over the last 8 years. The brand new Looking Glass collection will debut on Wednesday April 21st at 10am GMT.
‘The Vespertine Garden’ will be my last collection of resin jewellery, as I will be embarking on a new direction for my jewellery over the next few months.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working with resin over the last 8 years, but as an artist, I like to continually challenge myself and work with many different and new mediums. It feels right for me now to move on as I have mastered the art of resin. I am now looking forward to working on new projects, and excited to showcase them with my loyal and supportive followers and customers later this year
My original Looking Glass concept will remain, but will be fashioned in a new and innovative way. I will also be introducing a brand new range of products that are non-jewellery related. Last year, and this year so far, have been about learning many new crafts, techniques and knowledge. It was a positive outcome during many strict lockdowns, when there was not much else to be positive about.
‘The Vespertine Collection’ will therefore be a final celebration of my resin work. It is the largest collection I have made so far, and bursting full of colour, hope and happiness. Each one is a labour of love and completely bespoke. They now take on an even greater poignancy for me, as being the last of the collection, it will make them more difficult to part with. However, my customers will give them all good homes, I am sure of that.
