'A Bouquet of Beauty'- How to make a flower bouquet

Every Irish person would have learned the saying, 'tá an ghrian ag scoilteadh na gcloch ‘or ‘the sun is splitting the stones’, and it is certainly doing that over the last few days. The garden is relishing the sun, tropical heat, combined with the nightly soakings from the hose. It has erupted with an explosion of colour and new growth, and delights the eye each passing day. It’s hard to believe it’s only a little over a month old.

One of my favourite daily tasks is taking cuttings to bring indoors. In the video below, I have some tips and tricks on how to create the perfect cut flower summer bouquet. It’s so simple, yet brings so much vitality and beauty to any room in your home, or even your office or studio space.

Hope it inspires you all to venture out to your gardens, or local parks to pick blooms and wildflowers, and enjoy their bonny charm. -Gillian x.
