'Flight of the Faeries' - New Looking Glass Collection

 

The brand new Looking Glass collection ‘The Flight of the Faeries’ is available in store on February 28th at 2pm GMT. Here is a little preview of some of the new pieces, including the limited edition gemstone collection.

The botanical compositions within each Looking Glass are more intricately arranged than before; focusing on the tiniest of details to create a highly intriguing miniature window into a magical world.

The gemstone collection was an exciting little project I worked on. I’ve been collecting dazzling gemstones for a while now, and had been eager to incorporate them in some way in my Looking Glass collection. After some experimentation, I eventually devised a new arrangement of an enchanting woodland scene with a ‘dewdroplet’ in the form of a glittering jewel. As the sunlight passes through the gems, the play of light and spectrum of tiny rainbows that bounce off their contours, is pure magic.
