They formed an integral part of local folklore, often used in herbal remedies, intertwined into regional customs, and otherworldly tales involving the Aos Sídhe or fairy folk.

The Maidens of Folklore collection is inspired by the power of the natural world and the elemental forces that bind us to it. Each gemstone represents an Irish wildflower, and the compelling lore and positive attributes it possesses.

'Maiden of the Dewberry’

The native Dewberry or Eithreog can be seen dotted in ancient stone walls or hedgerows. In folklore they are symbolic of resilience and adaptability. Moonstone is a stunning gemstone that holds similar symbolism, and is believed to represent new beginnings in life, good luck and the boosting of feminine energy.

The droplets of moonstone are fair trade sourced and dance gracefully from handcrafted 14k gold filled ear wires. The ear wires are set with dazzling genuine AAA grade blue topaz gemstones.
