'Here's to 50 Years'- Wedding Anniversary Memento

I was contacted by a lovely client of mine to create a very special piece of bespoke jewellery for her granny. Her grandfather had expressed a wish to have a necklace made to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, and felt such a momentous occasion deserved a truly unique gift for his loving and devoted wife. It was such a sweet request, and I was delighted to be able to make such a meaningful piece for them.

I created a pine resin crystal that had encapsulated vibrant blue cornflower petals, a symbol of hope and enduring devotion. I hand gilded the lower apex with my signature fragmented 24k gold leaf, and placed a segment of her bridal veil; a very personal artefact that was imbued with a lifetime of happy memories. The result is a beautiful and sentimental piece of handcrafted jewellery that will mark a wonderful celebration for them and their families.
