'Bridal Jewels'- Bespoke Wedding Jewellery

I had always dreamt of creating my own jewellery for my wedding day. I've created many cherished heirlooms for brides all around the world, and it felt only natural that I should do the same for myself. I wanted to create a set that evoked natural elegance with a botanical and woodland theme, as they represent so much about me, and my amazing career. 

My wedding ring was a simple gold band, as I always feel plain gold has an enduring grandeur that will never feel the wrath of trivial fashion trends. My husband chose the same style- with some helpful hints from yours truly. My engagement ring on the other hand had to have as much sparkle as possible! It is one of my most treasured possessions, and every time I wear it, I can't help but marvel at its uncomplicated beauty and brilliance.

My bridal set was comprised of my signature pixie looking-glass necklace, my raindrop style earrings, and a dainty gold bracelet. The necklace debuted a miniature summer posey of cornflower petals, Queen Anne's Lace flowers and 24k gold leaf speckles. I chose soft peony pinks and plummy magentas as the palette to compliment my flower crown, bouquet and dress. The raindrop earrings featured a single cornflower petal in each, and hung from elongated 14k gold French hooks. I created my bracelet with a delicate 14k gold chain and a sweet 14k gold tree branch charm, as an ode to my livelihood; Lost Forest.

I was thrilled with the final set, and it gave me such comfort on my big day to wear pieces that were so personal and created by my own two hands. I find myself wearing the necklace everyday, as this piece just refuses to stay locked up in a jewellery box for years to come! – Gillian x
