'Pixie Confetti'- Custom Floral Bouquet Necklace

A pixie memento of an important occasion in your life, isn’t that just a magical thought? Yet these magical ideas can become a reality in the world of the Lost Forest.

Tiny treasures are my favourite items to create'; focusing my attention onto something so small makes me appreciate the process all the more. I was commissioned by a lovely customer to design and make a pixie globe featuring the flowers from a little bouquet her children had gifted her. The bouquet contained deep magenta pink roses, yellow carnations and purple statice. As the blooms were on the large side, I used my signature style of floral confetti. I trimmed the petals into tiny shards and sprinkled them into the resin, alongside glittering speckles of 24k gold leaf. The result was a precious and dainty time capsule of a special moment.
