'No day like a snow day'

 

It may be spring, but you just never know when a miniature snow storm will pay a visit to the Emerald Isle.

Waking up to an unexpected snowy wonderland brings inevitable excitement, and I’m the first out of bed rushing down the stairs to experience making the first footsteps on the soft powdery ground that blankets the fields and drumlins. Our 6 rescue kitties love playing in the snow, and are particularly fond of punching it, which brings them hours of fun- perhaps it’s something to try to get out any frustrations!
